Nqpetro is proud to announce the completion of another quality installation project at Nowergup Bus Depot in Western Australia. The project involved the supply and installation of an F.E.S. Hybrid Cylindrical CT60 Diesel/Adblue split compartment self-bunded tank and a comprehensive tank fit out.

KEY PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

SUPPLY AND INSTALL OF F.E.S. HYBRID CYLINDRICAL CT60 TANK: Nqpetro provided and installed the cutting-edge F.E.S. Hybrid Cylindrical CT60 tank, offering split compartment functionality for Diesel and Adblue storage.

TANK FIT OUT: The tank fit out included Gilbarco Red Jacket turbines connected to a remote dual-hose Compac Diesel/Adblue dispenser via Ibex HT crimped 316S pipework, ensuring efficient and reliable fuel dispensing.

PRODUCT SECURITY AND TRACKING: Nqpetro implemented the Pumpmate Fuel Management System, enabling product security and asset tracking, along with local TLS4B Automatic Tank Gauging for both Diesel and Adblue products.

SAFE, ON-TIME, AND ON-BUDGET DELIVERY: The installation was executed safely, meeting the project timeline and budget, showcasing Nqpetro's commitment to delivering exceptional results.

The project aimed to upgrade the existing Underground Petroleum Storage System (UPSS) at Ampol’s North Mackay location. This thorough endeavour involved a series of essential tasks to ensure compliance with industry standards.

KEY PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

CIVIL WORKS: Nqpetro meticulously planned and executed civil works to prepare the site for upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

INFRASTRUCTURE DECOMMISSIONING: Outdated fuel infrastructure was safely decommissioned to install new, state-of-the-art equipment, prioritising safety and environmental regulations.

STRUCTURAL MODIFICATIONS: Structural adjustments were made to the canopy to accommodate upgraded equipment seamlessly, integrating it with existing infrastructure.

SHEET PILING AND DEWATERING: Techniques such as sheet piling and dewatering were employed to maintain site stability and manage groundwater levels during excavation.

FUEL TANK INSTALLATION: Nqpetro installed new underground fuel tanks precisely, adhering to rigorous safety and quality standards to optimise space utilisation and ensure efficient fuel storage.

FORECOURT CAPTURE SYSTEM INSTALLATION: Advanced forecourt capture systems were installed to mitigate environmental risks and enhance spill containment, reflecting the station's commitment to safety and sustainability.

PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL UPGRADES: Comprehensive upgrades were made to plumbing and hazardous area electrical systems to enhance the integrity and reliability of the fuel handling infrastructure.

FORECOURT PAVEMENT RENEWAL: The project included renewing the forecourt pavement to enhance aesthetics and functionality, creating a welcoming and efficient refuelling environment for customers.

FUEL EQUIPMENT SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, AND COMMISSIONING: Nqpetro sourced and installed cutting-edge fuel equipment, meticulously commissioning each component to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance.

PROJECT DELIVERY

Nqpetro successfully completed a full upgrade on the underground petroleum storage system at Ampol’s North Mackay location.
